Use what you would usually throw away to make a delicious syrup that can be used as a simple syrup for mocktails and cocktails, a topping on your pancakes, in salad dressings, or anything else you’d like!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups strawberry tops
- 1 ½ cups sugar or sugar substitute
- 1 ½ cups water
DIRECTIONS
- Put all ingredients in a stockpot and bring to a boil.
- Turn down to a simmer for 10 minutes.
- Strain the tops and return liquid to the pot.
- Simmer until desired consistency.
