We believe in farming in a way that is regenerative to our planet and our resources, not disruptive. We believe in our animals living a great life and that they should be allowed to be themselves and express themselves. Chickens should be free to chase butterflies. Cows should be able to graze grass. Our ducks have swimming pools. And our pigs are allowed to be pigs. Our photos are authentic. They are our farmers on their farms. Our standards are real. We can be ourselves and enjoy the natural ecosystems on our farms by watching our animals be themselves. This is really local food. This is as honest and real as it gets.
Founded in 2014, SLO Farmers Co-op is a farmer co-operative in northeastern Wisconsin. We are committed to providing quality farm products that sustain both our family farms and our environment.
Our Mission
To cooperatively build the local food economy in Northeast Wisconsin with food from small, sustainable farms that prioritize the health of people, the planet (land and water), and animal stewardship;
We strive to effectively support member producers, consumers, and the community.
