The Adamski’s are now five generations on Full Circle Farm near Pulaski. After finishing college, Andrew returned to the farm and is restarting the dairy operation and focusing on growing the local food movement. Val Dantoin Adamski implemented the Sustainable and Organic Farming program at Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College and is recognized statewide for her knowledge of organic production. Rick now runs the beef operation after retiring from the dairy. He serves on the board of the Wisconsin Farmers Union and both he and Val are involved with efforts to preserve Wisconsin waterways.
Full Circle is a fully certified organic farm. The beef cattle are grass fed all the way through. No grain is provided as it is not needed to ensure the health of cows. Rotational grazing is used, which means the fencing is moved as areas are eaten off providing a constant supply of new grass and ensuring the soil can absorb the manure and effectively incorporate it back into the grass. Rotational grazing provides a balanced ecological system that protects waterways as it efficiently feeds cows the grass they are made to eat.
